What’s the temperature?
AXIS Q2101-TE lets you remotely monitor temperatures over large areas—automatically or manually with just one camera. It can monitor temperatures from -40 °C to 350 °C (-40 °F to 660 °F) with several trigger types such as lowest and highest temperature or temperature gradient. When mounted on a positioning unit (sold separately), this robust camera provides a 360° unobstructed field of view. This also enables thermometric guard tour with support for up to 256 presets with 10 polygonal detection areas each. Spot temperature reading acts as a visual aid and lets you see the exact temperature in a specific area. Additionally, temperature metadata enables statistics, follow up, and process analysis.
Detect early signs of fire
Built on ARTPEC 8, the latest Axis system-on-chip (SoC), AXIS Q2101-TE offers powerful analytics capabilities. It comes with early fire detection analytics preinstalled making it possible to set triggers and get warnings about early signs of fire or potential overheating. Using smart filtering, the analytics can disregard uninteresting hot objects such as the warm exhausts of passing work vehicles for reduced false alarms.

This reliable, IK10-, NEMA 4X-rated thermal camera is ideal for monitoring critical assets. It includes built-in cybersecurity features to help prevent unauthorized access and safeguard your system. For instance, Axis Edge Vault protects your Axis device ID and simplifies authorization of Axis products on your network. It also includes a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) that is FIPS 140-2 level 2 certified. Thanks to electronic image stabilization (EIS), this robust camera provides smooth video even in scenes with vibrations. And, with four I/O ports and support for edge-to-edge technology it’s possible to connect a network speaker to enable audio alarms.
Please note:
- Accuracy of +/- 5°C for object temperatures of 0-120°C. See Datasheet for other temperature ranges.
- AXIS Q21 Series cameras do not include mounting accessories. These must be purchased separately to provide flexibility in choosing the most suitable mounting solution for your specific installation requirements. A wide range of mounting options are available.
- Thermal cameras are subject to stricter export control regulations than visual cameras. Axis offers thermal cameras in both 30 fps and 8.3 fps versions to comply with export control legislation in most parts of the world. There is no other difference between a 30 fps and an 8.3 fps camera than the frame rate.
